What should I expect if I have never had a massage before?

My intention is to ensure your comfort with clear communication, a relaxing environment & discussing your goals. I will email you an online intake form for you to fill out to learn more about you. At your session we will discuss your goals and preferences to customize a plan that best suits your personal wellness goals and address your areas of concern. You will always be appropriately draped to ensure your comfort. I will check in about pressure & comfort level at various times.

What is your cancellation policy?

24 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

Cancellation of a massage prior to 24 hours before the scheduled session will not be charged. Cancellation within 24 hours of the scheduled massage will be charged 75% of the rate for treatment. No call/cancellation within 24 hours of your scheduled massage will be charged 100% of the rate for treatment. Kaja Hopps Massage Therapy reserves the right to reschedule or cancel any service.

Do you do couples massage?

Not at this time.

Do you do home visits?

Yes.

Home Treatment

If you want to experience massage in your own space or have an event home treatment is available. Home treatment rates begin at $150 and pricing is based on travel distance and duration of service. 

While massage can be provided in a variety of environments, it's important that the space is accessible with enough room for massage table and LMT to move around with enough space. To learn more about you and your set-up, a phone consultation is required to make a home treatment appointment.

I only want massage on certain parts of my body, Is this possible?

Yes, before your session we will discuss your preferences, sensitivities, injuries and goals to create an individualized plan.

What methods of payment do you accept?

Cash, check, credit card & venmo (@Kaja-Hopps). Gift certificates are available and non-refundable. There is a cash/check/venmo discount.

How do I get to your office?

I am located at 340 Main St. in Rockland. The office is across the street from The Strand Theater and next to Joe’s Barber Shop. There is a hanging sign that says “Sam Smith Body Work” and “Kaja Hopps Massage Therapy” above the door to my office. The waiting room is located up the stairs and the last door to the right. Make yourself comfortable in the waiting room with water and tea and I will come out to greet you. There are free 2 hr parking spots on the street and also a paid parking in the Winter Street and Thorndike Lots.
